Poetz is a non-profit, non-ad-supported, entirely unsubsidized site.  We pay our own hosting fees, calendaring fees, mailing list fees, buy our own software, and so forth.

This site is the end result of a tremendous amount of work. It's a labor of love, indeed, and given freely—but the underlying resources aren't free at all.
