JEWS FOR JESUS

Why don't they have a Christians for Mohammed?
Moslems for Buddha?
Hindus for atheism?
polygamists for nuns?

Why don't they prey on animists, wiccans agnostics?

How do they get on the evening channel 2 news?

What's with all their cartoons,
bright colors,
fliers ready for children?

Sometimes I sit in the subway,
spot one of their posters,
look at an Israeli announce his best friend is now Jesus.

I wonder how we got so attractive.
Trains didn't always love us.

TWENTY FIVE PSYCHOTIC BURNT ALIVE IN INDIA

Manacled to woods    to rock     to community safety
were they at least  aware it was an accident?

When the flames lit up from a  discovered match
it blew beyond the bidi.

Insanity melted like candles

it purified each mind
made them see fear
clear as glass.

They forgot boredom
the loneliness
their  betrayal

The village far off
as a water pump.
