YOGA MEDITATION ON THE CONEY ISLAND PIER

Sunday, June 9 @ 9:47 a.m.

The song of the
surf & the sun & the sea
& the shore

The ceiling as sky & the
ocean's wise eyes as
the floor

The feeling of
fancies & fairies & freedom & fine
feathered fate

The call to
confound capture crown rapture
rise rapture pound puff create

The fingertips of God the
harkening of angels exult
and elate—

& then the
old black
man began
to masturbate.

UPWARD FACING DOG

I read last night in a
yoga magazine that you
cannot be depressed with both
your eyes wide open -- How
funny since that's
why I thought
I was.

BAREFOOT ON THE BRIDGE

it is
all a myth -- it is all a twisted fallacy that we
simply exist here now and I am
breathing in current daylight and that's
just about it & hence that's
all that there is without some
symptom of other levels that we
cannot forget but simply
do & much too often the most
deeper green & permanent
sublime where we slip off
in spirit or sleep and other
subs of consciousness where we
spend all our purpose & prayers & grasp that
blissful gist of unity when our
mind finally lines with our soul that same
perfection that finds us death
